    Denouement

Okay, now that the Cubs season is over, we're trying to rest and recover.

Believe it or not, we are hesitant to take down our Cubs signs and flags. Actually, it's Bubba who wouldn't let me.

Turns out I gave birth to another Cubs fan. God help him.

    ---------------------

In the meantime, I've been working a lot. I'm kind of pooped after working all weekend, but I have to put in six hours today and eight hours tomorrow night.

But get this - that'll be my last night shift!!!

Oh my gosh, I just realized it - I'm so happy! Those night shifts just kill me. As of October 26th, I'm officially part-time. Two twelve-hour day shifts per week, one weekend every six weeks. I've been working so much that this will be like a vacation.

Of course, I'll put in extra hours - maybe one shift every week or two - but I can so totally handle that.

Just get me through the next few days.

    ------------------------

Speaking of work, I have to go get ready. Smell ya later.
