    Tentatively better

So I woke up this morning sore, but not screaming in pain for a change.

    I'll call that an improvement.

Maybe it's due to the fact that I found one more position in which I could comfortably sleep. Maybe it's a result of the vic0din I finally took last night. Maybe I'm just improving.

I'm just glad. So today I plan to try to resume my activities of daily living: grocery shopping, cleaning (a little), making dinner, running errands. Nothing too strenuous, but I want to feel normal again. Maybe I'll lay down on the couch with the heating pad for a little while this afternoon.

The Princess has been trying to persuade me to go to the chiropractor. She says it'll fix me right up. I'm thinking about it, but I wonder if I should just keep on with my physical therapist and the exercises she prescribed. I think they're working.

Either way, I have to get better fast. I called in for both my shifts this week, and that's very bad. I just applied for a part-time day position and it doesn't look good for me to be calling in sick right now.

I guess I'll just play it by ear. Today it's so far, so good.

Let's hope I've taken a turn for the better.

    In Bubba news...

Today Bubba had to fill a small brown paper bag with three to five things that he would share with the class. These things were supposed to tell a little bit about him.

This is what he put in the bag:
    - a P0kemon card
    - his pool pass
    - a golf ball
    - a picture of him laying on Ruthie
    - a small wrench.

I think that just about covers it, don't you?

Hope you are "tentatively" taking it easy when you can. I like Bubba's brown bag of five things. Question - what 5 things would you or I put in a brown bag?
