    Whassup witchu?

I know I haven't posted in a while. We've just been so busy. You should see how messy the house is. And Blondie and Cousin SissyK and Blondie's dog Linus are coming to visit tomorrow!

I have so much to do, I don't know whether to shit or go blind. So instead, I read, cook, and ignore the dirty house until I am forced to do something about it.

In the past week, I have put in many hours at work, lopped, chopped and bundled major portions of two large trees, tried my hardest to keep Bubba busy, and held O'Baby for many wonderful hours. My sleep debt is increasing with each workday, but I am happy.

The Princess seems to always give me the baby to hold just before I have to go to work. It's very hard to leave then. I think she does it on purpose. But I don't care. I need my baby fix.

You should see him. He got fat overnight. Well, he's really not fat, but he's chubby. And his skin is beautiful and pink and soft. His eyes are clear and he makes eye contact with you when you hold him. He's really a joy.

Bubba is so brown, we mistake him for one of the lawn guys' sons. And he's been doing flips off the diving board at the park pool. Now he wants to go off the high dive. The boy has a death wish, I swear.

Yesterday, I had to work 7p-3a (my usual shift lately), and Bro and Hubby went to Chicago, so The Princess and Puff Daddy were responsible for Bubba and O'Baby. They had some of Puff Daddy's cousins over, made steaks on the grill, and set off fireworks. Safely, thank God.

My only complaint about my life nowadays is the relative lack of sleep brought on by my whacked hours at work.

If that's the worst I've got, then I'm not doing half bad.

The late shift is a rough one. It's hard to sleep during the day when everyone else is up. And now you've got Blondie, Linus and SissyK arriving later today for a few days! It will get easier when Bubba is back in school. In the meantime, hang in there. Your home is filled with life and love. This is a good thing.
