    Progress

O'Baby had his one-week checkup yesterday. He has recouped his birth weight already! He weighs 6lbs, 15.8 oz. He passed his physical with flying colors, and we're all thrilled. He and The Princess make a great team! She's really doing a great job with him.

Bubba has been keeping busy and distracted lately. He found a new talent: when he plays the piano, the baby falls asleep! No matter what he plays, or how many mistakes he makes, O'Baby loves it! This tickles Bubba so much.

Bro put in his two-week notice at UP$ today. It's heart-breaking, watching him come home filthy and beaten-down every day. I'm glad he's doing something good for himself now. He will be applying at Puff Daddy's workplace. It seems like a good move.

Hubby is back to his former running capacity. This thrills him, because it took him a while to get back up to speed after his treadmill broke. I think he looks great no matter what, but I'm glad he's happy.

I've been working all the time lately. Most of my shifts at 7pm to 3am. This kills me, but I don't think I could make it through an entire night shift and be a decent parent to Bubba the next day. Bubba was kind enough to let me sleep until 10am today! Poor baby felt lonely, even though The Princess, O'Baby, Bro and I were all home - we were all sleeping! What a good boy Bubba is!

Blondie will still be able to come out to visit us after the 4th of July! She used up a lot of PTO from work with her recent illness, but as long as she doesn't get sick for the rest of the year, she should be okay. We'll all be so glad to see her! And she'll pass out when she sees her nephew!
